If the money they have goes away on food and clothing so every person in america should be payed the same because every one needs almost the same amount of money so that they can live and be healthy.

That is very unfair I never really understood why sport majors make way more money than the rest of us. ReplyDeletePeople are paid fairly in most cases because depending on how important the job is the more you’ll get paid. The importance of the job makes a huge different from other jobs. But I also think it’s unfair because some of them seem less important than the others. Some of the jobs on the list should earn more or less than others. It doesn’t really make sense unless you think about what they do. Like a baseball player, they’re just hitting a ball and running for peoples entertainment. A surgeon has your life, when the President probably has the most important jobs. I think the IMPORTANT ones should get more money not ones for your entertainment but how can save your life or keep you alive and make sure everything goes right. They think certain things are more important than others, which shows how crazy america is. They need help.
ReplyDeleteit depends on what you do i think it is not because every time you get a raise or get paid more some times or a lot it will get more expencive and it looks like you got paid a lot but you onley get paid the same thing as last time like if a car was 3,000 dollars but a year latter it cost 6,000 dollars it means you have to keep saveing up your money so we are crazy because we dont have to keep raiseing up our price.

A registered nurse and surgeon should get paid more because they actually save people and they don't make more than someone who just plays baseball while helping no one. The president should have the most money because they have a super important job out of all of everybody. This whole thing is all mest up because america is crazy.

Yet we pay them less then we pay people to play a game for our entertainment. I think that doctors and nurses are very important and save lives everyday but we still pay more to a baseball player yes they can be great role models but do they really save millions of lives. No but doctors and nurses do. It is just very crazy to think in money wise we value a baseball player more then doctors nurses and even the president.
ReplyDeleteI think most of those people aren't paid fairly. Some of the jobs that don't have a fair salary to me are the ones like the teacher. I also think that the fire fighter is underpaid. Personally, I also think that a major league baseball player should not be paid so much. The surgeon should also get more along with the president. I think this because these people have important jobs and aren't paid enough for what they do. The baseball player just plays a sport and gets too much money. The president doesn't get half as much money and I don't think that is fair. They should get as much money as possible for the job they do.
ReplyDeleteI think they are being paid fairly because they get a lot of money for little jobs. Most of these aren't little jobs but they get a lot of money for doing very little things. I also think that people deserve more money because we value the wrong things. We think that baseball players are more important then the president. I don't think that baseball players are more important than the presidant because the only thing the baseball players do is play baseball in major leagues or just play baseball, the president makes most of the decisions in the country/state. I believe that the president should be paid more because they are more important than baseball players or any other people in the country/state.

ReplyDeleteI think everyone should be able to have enough money to feed their family. If they only have one person to feed then they should be paid a good amount but if they have to feed nine than they should get more money than the families with one person. If they get paid lower than a person with one person in the family they are being treated unfairly. Unfairly is when you get like a crumb but rich people get 50 meals then they just throw it away when they could give it to the poor. We should all be treated with respect and not like a piece of trash when we should get the amount of money we need and not that we want it is nice to get things we want but if you always do that then you get spoiled easily and you won’t get the things that you NEED then you have to stop when you are buying a 5 pound box of cookie dough and think “Do I need this or do I want it?”. And that is why I think that we are getting treated unfair.

Most people who get low paying jobs is because they like to do the job there trying to get hired for. And people who go for the high paying jobs means they either want more money or there intreasted in the job. People are getting treated fair because they are the ones who choose the job.

So I think this is right if you paid what you could get then the other people that also work at the same job they get the same amount and then you would be treated fairly. This is why its fair to have different money because some people don't even do hard work.

ReplyDeleteI think the most hard worker is fire fighter and surgeon because they save people’s lives everyday and work ALL the time no matter if they have thirteen kids at home they are still out there helping people and taking time away from family time to help you out and make sure that you are safe and that nothing is wrong with you and make sure if you are hurt they make you their first priority.
I also think that if you are working almost 48 hours and making 38,810 to 182,690 compared to someone who works four hours and makes 2,376,580 then that means you don’t do as much as someone who only works eight hours a week and two hours a day.
I think we're not payed correctly. For example pro football players make 25,000,000$ a game. They're not doing anything to actually help anyone,all they are is entertainment. When people who have a job that actually helps people only get paid 50,000$ a year on average.

I think that the money paying should get changed up because Like the baseball player make more than like doctors and nurses and there out there saving people and curing things and all baseball is doing is playing a sport. Also i think that the baseball players shouldn't get more than teachers and if they are then just a little not by a lot, and i think this because teachers have to devote their time for kids and just deal with all of them, and i think that half of the baseball players wouldn't be where they are without I think that baseball players should get payed a lot but not more than like doctors and the president and people that are like more important than baseball players.

ReplyDeleteI do not think it is fair. Baseball players definitely do not need to make that much money, even on average. That's still more than what the President makes. I think Nurses, Doctors, Dentists, etc, should make the most. They help to heal people and keep the country better. I think a baseball player shouldn't make that much because all they do is play a game. IT'S JUST A GAME! Doctors SAVE LIVES, and on a DAILY BASIS! I also think firefighters should get paid more. They also save lives on a daily basis.

I understand that the different companies have different amounts of money, but what that person does for a living, should matter to what they get paid. I think the person that should be getting payed the most, with the most important job, is the President. A baseball player should not be making more money for hitting, catching, or throwing a ball, than the person that leads our country.
ReplyDeleteYou know what I gotta say? No some people should not be wining and complain that they do not get enough and how the major athlete make now get like 2 million dollars. Think of it like this you leave highschool to play in the majors you get a contract for 1 year and you can get cut any of the days, so your on the team for a week and you don't care cause you got 500,000 thousand dollars for a signing bonus so you slack in practice,bam! You get cut loose your contract and is now living in a house that you can't afford to pay off so now you loose your house your car and is forced to find a job without a high school diploma. Athletes like baseball players put it on the line. Taking chances, if you don't make your down, so don't say they do nothing and get paid millions for nothing when they do, by all means you paid to get in to their stadium, which is like handing them 5 bucks freely, that's why they get paid so much.

Surgeons make around $182, 690 per year. Your probably thinking well, that still seems like good pay right? Well you're wrong a major league baseball player makes $2,376,580 a year. I understand that there are more clercks than baseball players but still it just seems ridiculous. I think that the salaries should be changed so it would be just a little bit more fair to the plain folk. These are reasons that I think that the difference in money is unfair.

Same thing with the PRESIDENT of the U.S.A. only earns 16% of what a baseball player earns as well! Those people work a lot harder than a benched baseball player their paycheck should show that too.

Most of these people just get concussions and don't do anything for society. A surgeon can change someone's life and get paid $182,690. They don't help any one, have you ever heard someone say sports saved my life, no because nobody can not live without football or hockey. They play a game (by the way doesn't matter if they win or lose) that only lasts a couple of hours but some one that runs a country don't get even close to paying the same.
ReplyDeleteI think it is fair because there is a reason they get paid so much money. They get all of that money from the attendance of the game,ads,and T.V. Because the money that comes in is split in a way between the whole team and it shouldn't be taken away from them. It's the same in a way for other jobs the more you contribute and are worth to the company the more you are paid by a percentage of the profit. The problem is the other jobs have way less profit to split between the people so they get paid less. They also got to that high paying job for a reason they were better than everyone else at it.
ReplyDeleteI believe that baseball players get payed far too much. Baseball does take skill but they are playing a sport. I believe that people that are playing e Sports are the people that should be getting payed the most because of all the hours that the good people spend to make a thirty minute video. Many people don't appreciate the hours people spend recording videos editing videos and editing the recording as well as commenting on past videos.
ReplyDeleteI do not believe that people are paid fairly. Especially professional sport players. Nobody really needs a million dollars. Professional baseball players get almost six times as much as the president of the U.S. and that’s just as more of a beginner. All professional sports players do is play sports and I don’t think that entitles them to millions a year. I think that the professions that should be paid the highest are president, doctor, teacher, and firefighter because they make a difference in your life. Doctors and firefighters are supposed to keep you safe in some sense. Teachers give you the knowledge you’ll need in life. The president is an incredibly difficult job because you have to make decisions that will affect millions of people. They are all very honorable jobs that deserve the most payment in my opinion.
