Student Rights

What rights should a school gaurantee you as a student when you are present in the facility?

    -to have freedom of speach
    -nap time
    -food
    -safety
    -water
    -heat
    -clothes
    -paper
    -pencil
    -freinds
    -wi-fi
    -not locked in
    -no razor wire
    -no walls
    -freedom to leave
    -windows
    -communication with the outside world
    -desks
    -life

    - Recess
    - Where own clothes
    - Go to potty
    - Have lunch time
    - Breath
    - learn as much as we can
    - live
    - Safety
    - No bullying
    - To have hair
    - See other people
    - Leave
    - Ask for help
    - Pick your own teachers
    - Choose what team you are on
    - Have a good lunch
    - be treated fairly

  9. A dedicated kind teacher
    A good education
    I will not be bullied
    I will feel safe while inside the building
    I will have healthy food that tastes good
    I will be held accountable
    Others will be held accountable
    Swearing will not be taken lightly
    I will not face peer pressure for inappropriate behavior
    Open access to materials
    Punishments will be carried out accordingly
    I will be accepted for me
    Classes will be to my interests
    I will have access to after school sessions
    I will have access to technology
    I will have access to after school activities.

  10. -We should be able to defend ourselves if there is no help
    -We should be able to drink when we need to as long as it does not bother anyone or effect you
    -We should be able to use the restroom if needed
    -We should be able to stay home if sick enough to not be able to learn or is highly infectious and damaging
    -We should be able to learn effectively and safely
    -We should be able to say what we need to say if it is effecting our learning
    -We should be able to think what we want
    -We should be able to take a break if it is urgent and could effect others and our learning
    -We should be able to say our point of view on things
    -We should be able to report something that was bad and it should be taken care of
    -We should be able to have our public freedoms

    - Classes are legit and being ran by a licensed teacher

  14. - You should be able to got to the bathroom at anytime.
    - You should be able to have gum and a drink in class.
    - P.E should be optional.
    - Let kids use there phones/Ipods for educational use
    - Kids should be able to leave the school and vent if they are angry.

    -Have Recess

    -Have good Lunches
    -Have longer lunch Time
    -Give kids harder punishments for bullying
    -Have Huge lockers
    -Be able to choose which team you are on
    -Be able to choose your teachers
    -Lear what we want to (no math)
    -NO homework
    -Assigned restroom breaks
    -Leave and go to places for lunch with friends
    -Have a swimming pool
    -have a trampoline in gym

    - Teachers should look out for students.
